Using the shopping cart
Each time you add a subscription you will see a list of the items currently in your shopping cart. If you want to add more items, click the "Continue Shopping" button to go back to the online store. If you want to remove an item, simply click on the "remove" button in your cart.
If you wish to order multiple copies of the same item, simply add the item to your cart a second time. During checkout you will have the chance to specify the mailing address for each subscription.
For your convenience, you can always view the contents of your shopping cart by clicking the "Cart" icon found in the navigation menu.
When you have finished selecting the subscription you wish to purchase, press the "CHECKOUT" button to advance to the shipping and payment area. At Step 1 of the checkout process, you may either sign in as a returning customer, or you may begin checkout as a guest.
Next you will be guided through steps prompting you to enter the delivery address for each magazine. Finally, you will be asked to enter your payment and billing information. At this point, shop4magazines.com will attempt to pre-authorize the charge. If this pre-authorization fails, you will get a billing error message that will prompt you to recheck your billing information or enter an alternate credit card. You will not be able to submit your order until there is a successful pre-authorization.
Once your order has been submitted, you will receive an email confirmation. This confirmation will also contain your Order ID number. Keep this information in your records, as it will help our Customer Care staff better assist you should you need to contact us.
For your added security and to prevent fraudulent credit card transactions, our online ordering system employs:
1) Address Verification - Your credit card number is sent directly to the appropriate bank along with your name and address during the ordering process. The bank will then respond within seconds either confirming or denying your order based on the validity of the information received.
2) Credit Card Verification Digit (CCV) - We require the 3-4 digit CCV code on the back of the credit card so we know that the person using the card actually has the card in hand.
